How does the destruction of (mobile) phones work?
Our data destruction process is effective and environmentally responsible. Our services are completely tailored to your needs. We are fully certified and comply with all applicable laws and guidelines.
After shredding the phones, you can prove that stored personal data has been destroyed safely. This allows you to comply with the applicable AVG/GDPR guidelines. We can also take care of the destruction of hard drives, SSDs, tapes or other data carriers for you.

2 Transport to our service centre
We make sure your phones are shipped safely. Or we bring our mobile shredder to your premises and destroy your phones on site.
3 Data carrier registration
Upon arrival, your phones are registered.

5 Eco-friendly disposal
Your IT waste is disposed of in an eco-friendly manner.
6 Reports, certification and invoice
Afterwards you’ll receive the invoice, destruction certificates and detailed reports.
At your premises or in our secure Service Centre in Nieuwegein?
Physical destruction of smartphones, phones or PDAs is the most logical choice when the residual value is zero. Our destruction service meets the extremely strict DIN 66399 and ISO/IEC 21964 standards. We use a very powerful shredder. You can have written-off telephones destroyed in our professionally secured service centre in Nieuwegein.
We also have a mobile shredder, with which we can destroy phones at your premises. As a specialist in IT recycling, this is of course done in the most environmentally responsible way possible.
Old phones: destroy or sell them to CTC?
Sell old phones
In many cases we can buy back your old hardware, including (mobile) phones, PDAs or tablets. Using our special Blancco software, all data is first permanently removed. You can then reinvest the residual value in new IT equipment. You can also donate the residual value to the ITdonations Foundation. This way, the residual value benefits a charity of your choice.
Our method of data removal is completely foolproof. After all, business phones are often full of business emails, important documents and contact details of your customers or stakeholders, among other things. As you will understand, a so-called “factory reset” is not sufficient. In fact, with a factory reset, data can still be recovered via so-called recovery software.

- H-5 (hard drives): Data carrier broken into several pieces, particle size ≤ 320 mm2
- T-3 (tapes): Particle size ≤ 320 mm2
- E-2 (electronic media such as USB sticks, SD cards): Medium broken into pieces
- O-2 (optical media): Particle size ≤ 800 mm2
